I’m New

Welcome! We're Glad You're Here!

Choosing a church these days can feel a bit like standing in the cereal aisle—so many options, it’s hard to know where to start! At 1st Church, our desire is simple: to be a safe place where anyone can grow in their faith, learn about God, and experience His love. We invite you to join us this Sunday, encounter Jesus, and discover a community that will walk with you on life’s journey.

What to Expect

Our Sunday service lasts about 80 minutes. During worship, kids (birth through 5th grade) can enjoy Discipleland, our children’s ministry designed just for them. Be sure to come a little early—or stay after—for coffee, tea, donuts, and great conversation!

From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll be welcomed with warmth. Our desire is not just to greet you on Sundays but to walk with you in life, building real relationships that extend far beyond the church walls. If your heart longs for authentic community, you’ll find it here.

Are we traditional or contemporary? Honestly, we’re somewhere in between. Our services don’t follow a strict traditional format, but you won’t feel like you’ve walked into a concert either. We sing a mix of music styles, and we encourage people to use their gifts in worship. Most of our congregation dresses casually, though you’ll see everything from jeans to Sunday best.

For us, prayer isn’t just one ministry among many—it’s the ministry of the church. Everything we do begins and ends with prayer. We pray for one another, and every time we gather our leaders seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible is God’s living Word—always true, always relevant, and always powerful to change lives. Each week, we open Scripture together and let God’s voice be heard. The NIV is our primary translation, though other trustworthy versions may also be used by different teachers.
