In this message from The Connected Life series, Pastor Joshua Kennon explores Romans 12:1–2 and Luke 5 to show that obedience to God always begins with surrender.

Rather than calling for outward activity or religious performance, this sermon invites personal reflection on where God may be pressing each believer to trust Him more deeply.

Rooted in the mercy of the gospel, Pastor Joshua reminds us that transformation doesn’t start with certainty, but with yielding our lives to God as living sacrifices. As Peter’s response to Jesus demonstrates, real obedience often comes down to a simple yet profound decision: “Because You say so, I will.”
